In the late 1960s, a group of innovative educators saw the need for an international approach to education in order to equip young people with the skills, values and knowledge necessary to create a more peaceful future, creating the International Baccalaureate in 1968 in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

The IB aims to provide better opportunities than other programs to develop caring, knowledgeable and informed young people who are motivated to achieve their goals.<\/p>\n

It is a programme for children from 3 years of age until the end of elementary school. It is aimed primarily at the integral development of children and their ability to analyze their surroundings.
