Andamaxei Cup
The XIII edition of the Andamaxei Cup took place from April 11 to 14, where Colegio Celta participated with 3 categories:
Category 2010 on day 1 we managed to win with a score of 2-0 where our players showed great soccer, beating their rival Bravos FC from San Luis Potosí, on day 2 we faced the Nyupis from Veracruz where we unfortunately fell by a score of 2-1, team that would eventually become champion of the tournament. On match day 3, our boys went out with a lot of dynamics and determination searching for the pass to the playoffs, winning by a score of 7-1, without reaching the goal.
The 2009 category faced Tuzos de Coahuila on day 1, where they managed to come from behind to win 3-1; for day 2 these youngsters faced their similar team Jaguares from San Luis Potosí, where they won again with a 5-2 score. On day 3 they faced AcFFI from Guanajuato with a 2-1 result. Unfortunately, they were unable to qualify for the finals due to the number of goals.
In Category 2006, on day 1 we faced Spartans with a score of 1-0, on day 2 against the Gunners of Tamaulipas where we lost 2-1 and on day 3 we closed our participation against the Guerreros of Leon, Guanajuato, again losing 2-0.
Undoubtedly it was a great experience, where our students and parents enjoyed every minute of every game, always encouraging our students, and we are sure that we will return stronger in search of better results.
