CISMUN 2020
The Celtic International School Model United Nations (CISMUN), is a simulation in which students debate relevant topics from around the world. The debates are held in different languages, such as English, French or Spanish. The students are called delegates, representing different countries which are members of the United Nations Organization. Our aim is to seek for peaceful resolutions to the different topics presented.
This type of model helps our students to demonstrate their abilities acquired in the IB Programmes, such as social by working in teams in order to find a resolution and understanding another delegate´s point of view, communicator by expressing their ideas and understanding different perspectives, thinker by analyzing possible solutions, inquirer by doing a deep and proper research regarding the topic and self-management by organizing their information and time.
