WE GREW AND BECAME STRONGER
By María Mayela Sosa Rodríguez | Personal Project Coordinator
When we reach the end of a school year, we take stock of all the goals and objectives we set at the beginning, the experiences, challenges, uncertainty, learning, growth, as well as the smiles shared, the dreams fulfilled and those yet to come.
It is time to create a bridge between what was planned and what was achieved, between what helped us and allowed us to be better people and all that we still have to work on.
We have learned many things, shared many moments, and built feelings and bonds among the whole Celtic community. It is important to point out that we always put our determination and greatest effort, so that despite the difficult moments we have had to live through, we have been and continue to be able to move forward.
The end of a school year is a celebration for the students, parents and the whole school community, it is a time of balance and a sample of what the school did during the year.
Before saying goodbye, I want to remind you to value:
- Happiness; seeking it in every moment.
- Dreams; that remind us that we are alive and give us the strength to reach our goals.
- Good advice; it helps us, gives us encouragement and motivates us.
Learn:
- To have an active listening since many things are learned from others.
- To believe in yourselves; that you can achieve whatever you set out to accomplish.
- To not give up.
Take advantage of this period of rest as a time of reunion with yourselves and your families, enjoy every moment and renew your energies.
I say farewell with this phrase and wish you a happy and well-deserved vacation:
“A school cycle that ends, a page that comes to an end; one more step to climb. The opportunity begins again; it is not the end; it is only the beginning of your future” -Maricela Salazar Mier-.
